No precip at all here since around 7 pm. Temp is 38 and steady. Winds are NNW at 28 with a gust to 46. Lots of limbs and trees down with power outages reported in the county.

35 with very light, sideways snow. Extreme wind event. Probably going to be the most notable thing here from this one. Just not much moisture making it over the Apps.

Lol Adam, I think one of the biggest surprises I think was the difficulty the moisture has had making it over the mtns. Just hasn't been heavy enough to cool the column enough for snow of any amount down below 2k ft.

Yes it sure is. If this storm could have held the same punch and had it been December, it would have probably accumulated even in the lower elevations i'd imagine. Of course had the "deeper" moisture actually made it here probably would have gotten some anyway.
