Currently 37.9 degrees here with a rainfall total of 0.90" today. Winds around 8 to 10 MPH from the NNW.

Storm total so far of 3.31". Tellico river is 10.1' above flood stage, major flooding and still rising. Haven't seen it this high since mid 90s.

Stiff wind out of NNW 15-18 MPH. Temp down to 35.5. Storm total 2.22" Come on! Drop another 4 degrees!

Still raining here with 38 degrees should not get much or any lower tonight. Dew point is 38. So far since yesterday 3.80... Rain may ease off around midnight or before. Then pick up again tuesday.

Been busy as a bee lately and with it being spring in January not felt much need for posting. But with wintry conditions back I'm back, though I never stopped reading. We've had rain/sleet/snow mixed at times here and been in the low 30s since around 4:30 this afternoon. The entire area is sitting about 5 degrees below the MRX forecast lows.

Temps have trended upwards; was down to 35.3, now 39.3. Total rain yesterday weighs in at 1.37". Storm total so far: 2.48".

since rain started i have pickup 5 plus inches. With more to come. NWS at the airport maybe a little over 3 plus. They are always wrong. This is the S VS N in rainfall. I live near the lake 45 seconds away. I guess it that Lake affect that does it for me. LOL... More rain to the SW of me. Temps in the 40's this morning rain and cold.

Thanks for the observation windstorm! I have about 3 inches of rain at my house. They let the kids out of school at 1 and many other counties have closed all day today. Imagine if all this was snow at 20 degrees..... wowsers lol

Currently it's 39 degrees and we have gotten 2 1/2 inches of (SNOW) I mean rain, lol. Since yesterday. Wishful thinking
