Light snow has started here. Looks like we might get a decent event here based on the radar.

Well looking at the radar I have about 30 to 45min left for this event! If it had not rained for the first 20 min I could have got a dusting. lapat

Wind has really picked up here in the last 30min. Clouds cleared out right at sunset, and allowed the temp to fall. Been at 33 most of the evening. Clouds are increasing now, and I think precip will be here soon. We'll see here shortly, I guess.

Yep, I noticed that Reb. Sensing pretty high bust potential here too. I think more than a dusting, based on radar, is aksing for too much. I guess downsloping is getting the best of the precip.

Temps will rise ahead of the front just like EVERY other front! Probably be a VERY brief period of rain before changing to snow from TYS and southward. This has never been a significant event..its a clipper! For more than a dusting-1/2 inch you will need to be elevated or north of I-40. All this is/was expected

Temp went from 32 to 38 here, but the precip has been all light snow so far. WSW winds at about 25 with 40 mph gusts are to blame for the brief warm up. And the precip will appear to break up as it approaches the Plateau. To some extent that's it not being in either MRX or OHX radar range.

We'll see. The temp has fallen back to 34 here from 38 and nickel sized flakes are falling.

Heavy snow now. It almost sounded like I heard thunder too but it may have been a distant train.

The temperature is 41 degrees here (up from 31), but I’m really not too concerned about temperatures.

This thing really is hauling the mail all of a sudden and the precip field did shrink quite a bit. I'm thinking outside the mountains it's gonna be hard to squeeze and inch because of the warm up. It's actually very wet snow instead of the high ratio snow the models were advertising.

I will say this for it, I'm getting close to blizzard conditions right now due to the 35-40mph winds ripping and the heavy snow. About 1/2 inch now. Not sure how much longer it'll snow but it's nice to look at.

Just let up here but it snowed pretty hard for awhile. Might have 1/4". Looks like it completely fell apart less than 10 miles south of me so I'll not complain.

41 here as precip moves in...not downsloping on radar...looks like temps might be the main issue here. always gotta be something.
