It's been a while guys works been real busy! Back to weather the storm for next thur- fri the euro is suppressed. Also if you look at the gfs it looks great until you look at the ensembles they are south as well so we will see what happens. It looks like this pattern may last until april! Iam ready for the warmt.

This is the navys new and improved NAVGEM model..it recently replaced the NOGAPS and is a much better model as far as accuracy goes. Ive been watching it for months now and its usually pretty close to the euro and GFS.

Epic storm for this time of year

Here is the 12zeuro just a hair south of its 0z position. Exactly where you would want it if you are wanting to see a snow storm because this will no doubt come north a little

Meanwhile its hit 77 degrees this afternoon here in Sevier county pass out

Crazy temp gradient along the stalled boundary!

Models still trying to sort the extended range out but I think something crazy will come from it. Not exactly sure where tho

Looking at the GFS runs i have look at just now at 5:05 p.m. Ok it the gfs i got it. LOL,LOL,LOL. But when the first few days of spring comes in going by the GFS it won't feel like spring has sprung in fact in some places shows some light snow or snfl depending on where you live. And that is very possible because March has always been the month with the most extreme weather condition. Got to go get some Milk and Bread.. brrrm!

It would be cool to get a sloppy wet snow in late March but the head meteorologist at Morristown said this in an interview:

Pretty heavy storm just rolled through here. I have to say, I think this is the first thunder I've heard since the thundersnow we had back in January! I can't remember a time that I've been through where thunder was so absent, for so long, from storm systems rolling through the area.

Wow! What a diff look to the 18z GFS it goes from poss snow to poss severe and the NAM at 84hrs shows snow who knows? This is crazy the gfs now has the snow storm for the Midwest with the warmnose well north. Today I think was a sign of what spring has in store when we can get higher dew points it will be bad!

Its one 18z run of the gfs..and its likely wrong by moving vortex out to sea too fast.

Meanwhile look what is/was on the ground in Georiga yikes

Wow, I need to check on some friends down there. I've also been very busy here lately. Termites and other bugs starting to come out. Ill check the JAN LSR here in a min.

Just checked the storm reports. Lol, off duty NWS employee measured 4.2 5in, hail in Clinton yikes there were also numerous other reports btwn quarter and baseball size.

12z gfs is finally breaking down the pattern... 0z hinted at it last night... 12z more bullish with it... mid long range finally a severe pattern shown... gfshas been hinting at a big system around april 3rd... that date sound familar?

Been looking at that for a while now in the first week of April. Well it's time, i hate to say. Been lucky this month in march. It's has not been like the last two March. To cold. This month should go down as below Normal . Can't wait to see the numbers on March.

The March cold has pleased me, none of my fruit trees are even budding yet. This gives me hope they won't take a killing freeze, though with where I am located due to the geography I have a rough time with late freezes. It's rarely safe for me to plant tomatoes for instance, before May 5th.

Most of the time i can plant tomatoes around April 15 - 20. Not so sure about this year. There have been years where in the last week of April we would get a frost/frez in some years. Every thing seems to be on time this year . Except the colder than normal March weather.

Today I noticed all the blooms on the Bradford pear trees have been killed by the cold temps and have now turned brown
