Re: May 2013 Observations
IMBY i had 92. NWS had 88 yesterday. I know it was hot. But guess what it's going to get hotter. But for the most part we are about 2/3 of the way done with spring. So we are slowly inching our way toward fall every so slowly. And the best thing so far this spring is lack of severe weather which is great. Have a good day everyone. God Bless..

Re: May 2013 Observations
Heavy rain started about 9 A.M. today. 3.20 recorded as of 6:00 P.M. Friday night into Saturday morning 1.00 inch. Total so far 4.20. Some roads had flooding. To the NW of me trees were down. Don't know if this was from wind or wet ground. Rain as pretty much stop now. Looks like dryer air filling in. And low pressure moving out. Sun for Monday with a high forecast near 90. So much for the 1.5 inches they were calling for over the weekend.

Mostly nickel and a few quarter size hail from Sunday (5/19/13). This photo was taken outside Makinos restaurant on Kingston Pike near Gallaher View Rd.
Re: May 2013 Observations
Low this morning got down to 48 degrees. I was thinking maybe it would get down into the low to mid 40's . But that's ok. Like the nice cool morning like this.

Re: May 2013 Observations
42.7 here this morning.
On a side note, the hail from last Sunday as shown above was enough to cause small dents on the hood, roof, and trunk of my car. I didn't believe it was bad enough to cause damage so i never checked. Then yesterday, a friend of mine told me his car was damaged Sunday, so I had a look, and sure enough... I'm debating whether to turn it in to insurance or not. Damage isn't that bad.

Low this morning 56. Looks for the most part a ho - hum week ahead around these parts unless something pops up.
