Iv been watching this for a couple days now. I wasn't too concerned about it. But if the artic air gets here as quick as some models are showing it could get nasty sun night. I don't want to loose power again but it looks like we could get more than a half inch of ice then sleet. I suspect by this afternoon we will be under a winter storm warning for Nashville west.

Well just as I was trashing the NAM this morning for it really the only one showing a colder and further south track. The euro is showing the same thing now. It is colder and further south. That will be a lot of ice if this is correct. WoW! The euro shows 12" of snow for my area which it is counting the ice so that number will be lower of course. Stay tuned!!

It looks like we may end up with a few inches of snow on top of all the ice. Going to be very interesting how it plays out. Any further shift south I could get a good snowfall instead of ice.

The frozen slop keeps getting pushed more south and east. Could be a little surprise for some of us after basking in 70* temps today.

It's going to be a long afternoon and night for me guys! It's already 34 at the house. I live about 25 miles nw of Nashville and it is 65 there the freezing line is running about 5 hrs faster than what the models are showing. Im hoping not to loose power. Need sleet and snow!
