Any new snowfall maps from the models, or is 4-8 inches pretty much unchanged?

Dry as a bone here in Oak Ridge.  Radar looks active all around us, though.  I have a bet with my boss that we will end up with over 2 inches of snow.  She's adamant it will be less than 2.  Hope I win! LOL

Not sure about the maps but I know our WSW now shows Knoxville getting 5-9 inches, up from the 4-8 this morning.

I'm guessing the heavy snow will help lower the surface temp?? Hopefully this stuff starts sticking soon

MRX mentions the possibility of thundersnow as cold core gets closer. Ive been dry slotted for the last few hours..gonna really have to come from there tonight to make the MRX forecast (8-10") cause im only sitting around an inch right now. Definately gonna get intense tonight tho

Sitting at 31.1 and in a dry slot. Just a dusting on the grass. Hope things start to pick up soon. I see the second band. Looks pretty good.

Finally starting to snow in loudon county. Nothing on roads or sidewalks yet. Coming down rather hard. Don't think there is any way we make 4-5

Had to work today so missed the morning appetizer. Officialy had 2" at my house that had melted down to 1/2 inch of slush when I got home at 4:15. Then sleet changed over to snow. Currently moderate snow with a fresh 3" on ground as of 30 minutes ago. I'm going out in a minute to check totals and get a quick video. Looks beautiful out.

couldn't find my damn wooden rule so having to measure with atape measure. I almost dropped my new Galaxy camera in the snow trying to snap it. Anyway we are sitting at 3 1/2 " and still coming down good.

Took a video but not sure if it will show up. I haven't learned the settings on camera yet.

Good deal Windstorm. It's still coming down pretty good at my house. Flakes aren't near as big as earlier but it's still a good steady accumulating snow.

Anyone on here think Chatty has a shot of getting under what looks like a deform band in Alabama? If so I have video ready to roll.
