2015 Drought conditions

Im afraid this is going to get worse as the longwave weather pattern has switched up from trough east and ridge west to trough west and ridge in the east. Its already effected my trout fishing as the water has gotten really low and the trout are struggling to find deep water! Never seen such a dry spring..ive not even seen the first hint of severe weather at my house. I just hope the Heat ridge dont dig in this summer because thats usually a vicious cycle that only makes a short term drought worse!

Not to mention El Nino is not going to help anything

Not where i live. At our Airport it is. But they miss out on a lot of the weather over there. I know for the record books it only counts at the airport as far as Government goes. Where i live we have went some days without water and i have had to water my garden. But as of this month and most months since this year started, we have had avg to above avg rainfall. I am closing in on 5 inches of rain for the month, while our airport has only recorded under 3 inches for the month.
