Arctic Outbreak Possible (85 style?)

Lots of mets were pointing at the mid to late January time period to see some fun. I don't think they were wrong in the fact it is coming, just off by a few days. I think the 1st half of February has a chance to be really fun. As I have been saying, MJO is favorable and the PV is trapped in Canada. Let the good times roll.

Looking at the 00z NAM it looks like a very weak clipped type system dropping south for Tues night. Probably nothing just something I noticed.
