Good map I say! Still room for a surprise! I was reading a forecast discussion from nws for the forecast and they said still a lot of uncertainties with forecast and position of lp! Only time will tell.

Re: Accumulating Snow Possible Mar 24-26
Winter storm watches have been issued for the mountains and SW VA. I would have thought they would be needed for the northern plateau also but what do I know. While im at it there should be at least a special weather statement to cover possible light snow accumulations in the northern valley areas. Bristol/Kingsport/Johson City/Morristown/Greeneville! One wasnt issued in the northern valley last event and most of the northern valley got 2-3 inches! People were off in ditches that morning on the way to work because they watch the local tv forecasters who often just regurgitate what the NWS leads them to believe. I seen where WBIR had a "few flurries" for the weather on Monday

Just for comparison
Here is the actual upper low that slid through here back in early march
Here is this one as progged by the 0z NAM
This one is progged a little stronger/colder at 528DM compared to 534DM

One last thought before
If the 0z GFS is correct and it probably is..after the cold front passes through highs will not get out of the 30's in many places until Thursday/Friday timeframe. This is totally a late December/early January type airmass. This may damage many trees thats already in bloom and I already bet that Mt. Leconte sees 15+ inches of snow with this system..there will be a strong secondary upper level sw/disturbance that will reinforce the snow/cold air. Crazy town for late March!

Sorry folks. Was at a bday party for my bother in law before I "fell asleep". Woke up and got home and realized I posted gibberish. Anyway, had a good downpour with lightning while my wife drove us home and complained just a little about me overdoing it. Let's get some good storms and/or a little snow here.
Once again, sorry for the gibberish.
