Sunny here in Hixon. 2.5 more inches have fallen at home for a total of 5 inches with moderate/heavy snow still falling.

Clipper #3 a success here and still coming down..with an inch on the ground. MRX issues a WWA for Clipper #1 in the valley and everyone gets nothing. They dont issue WWZ for clipper #3 and I have an inch on the ground with likely another one befroe it jets outta here
Pic I took when it first started

All Aboard the Clipper Train!!!
Toot and All, Sure enjoy this forum.
We've received a little over 2 inches from this morning's clipper event here in Oak Ridge. Very nice surprise to wake up to. Will try to post a pic or video.

More pics from friends back home. I knew I'd miss a nice one when I decided to come south for the weekend.

Awesome snow John..I hate that you had to miss it. Luckily I think there will be at least 3-4 more clipper systems over the nbext few days
Re: Clipper Train 2013
MRX definately should of issued a WWA for the valley with this one. Now there is a nice band streaming right on top of them! haha

Well, that was fun while it lasted. Btwn overnight and this AM, we got about 2in. However, the temp is rising, and there is some filtered sunshine. This snow is melting faster than a snowman with a hairdryer, lol. Anyway, wrf is not too hopeful for snow here on the next one. Looks like rain. I guess we'll have to see

Re: Clipper Train 2013
I got totally ripped off on this one. Very few flurries with nothing sticking. It totally split to the north and the south of me. Oh well, maybe another good chance left?
