Winter storm warning is now in effect for all of middle Tennessee. Sounds like they are very concerned about possibly a quarter inch of ice accumulation with 1 to 3 inches of snow on top of that

Probably one of the craziest temp gradients I have EVER seen!!

1-1.5" of sleet that has frozen and at least 3.5" of snow! The snow gods smiled upon us overnight!

About 1/2 inch of sleet, about 7inches on the ground and still snowing, my totals will be around 8 to 9... A lot of blowing and drifting...

You really lucked out. I imagine we would have a lot more if that warm nose would have kicked out sooner. So far, have only been called out for one wreck. I think people are getting smarter.

The Nam model done a good job on forecasting the amount of snow in my area which was 0000. Done a good job last week also.

About 30 miles to my nw is were interstate 24 was closed down from last night till about 2 or 3 hrs ago, people were stuck in there cars and had to sleep there! The amer Red Cross set up mobile stations on the side of the rd for people, just wild! They had about 15 to 20 inches up that way. Now!!! Ready for spring

Question is???????? Will this have been the last chance here in Tennessee for a real winter threat. Not including the Smokie Mts. I think so. But March can bring anything. We have had a few snow on the first day of spring and even in April.

It's hard too say! But the gfs has been hinting at something around the 15th through the 18th time frame..... I think there's more to come for the mid state! After a short warmup it goes cool to cold again... We shall see!

Here is the GFS for that time frame, it's a ways out but been pretty consistent....

Thanks .. You can never really count winter out in the month of March. I agree with you that there are still some cold days to come. Maybe not like we saw in Jan, Feb. But enough to throw another log on the fire.
