Spring WX discussion

Post by Toot on 2016-03-04, 7:44 pm

El Nino during spring generally are below average on tornados and severe weather in general but not this year!! ENSO really hasnt had much to do with the winter pattern and I dont expect it to have much influence on spring weather either. With the cold season storm track (Apps runner the mean JAN and FEB mean storm track) it could really provide a few high risk days as the jet stream retreats northward and turns apps runner into lakes cutter we could see many a svr wx outbreaks this spring if the polar jet dips alittle further south than usual this spring!!
