Im in Sevier county and right now the precip is Virga..shouldnt take long to saturate the column. Still expection about an .75 inches here in the foothills of the smokies popcorn

It ended as fast as it started here. Had a good 20 minute burst of snow. Last 5 minutes were the duck feather flakes with some sleet mixed in. Took a quick video with phone but shitty quality on my Droid.[code][quote]

LOL what the heck... Mrx says snow likely until 3, then rain for the day forecast, then the night forecast says snow likely until 7, then rain between 7-10, and then snow again... LOL what are they toking on??

They are toking for sure! It is up to 35 right now with partly cloudy skies. More precip to my nw coming in. But NOAA forecast for me tonight says clearing skies but if you look at the models they show precip late tonight and sun morning for me! LOL

Light snow in Mcminn county started about 10:30 and still going. Just a light dusting so far but everything is staring to cover.

Unless there is plenty of redevelopment this one is going to be over before it was supposed to start, MRX was saying snow would be mainly after 1 pm towards my area. Looks like the backside is pulling into there already.

Not sure this was expected but after a 2 1/2 hour lull we have modetate sleet with snow mixing in at my house. Temp dropped from 34 to 32 at the onset of precip.

Can anyone explain what MRX is thinking? Their updated forecast for me is rain and high of 39. It's still just 30 and I don't see that changing. Nashville is 38-40 and snowing, Chatt is 32-34 and sleet/snow. What am I missing here?

Looks like the clipper for mon time frame per NAM may pick up some gulf mos! Could get interesting if don't get to warm. This looks to be stronger than this one!
