Ive noticed a jog north from the gulf system..its likely feeling the tug of the northern stream now..its probably too late for any major changes but interesting none the less

Weather update from Chatty! Its dark outside. Temp around 45. Nothing. Nada. But I did manage to slam a LOT of BlueMoons at Mello Mushroom. I managed to piss off the wife. Imagine that!

So where is the snow? Pretty funny becauce Chatty has put brine on all the major roads! WTF?

Idk I still think east tennessee will do good but something messed us up somehow. Its still in the mid 30s with very little precip.

Yea no way that will give us a dusting.. Its snowing atm but nothing is sticking anywere.... I tried to say this on another site but they insist im stupid and that we will get snow out of no were.. Hope there right. I want snow so bad before today I was over winter but just waiting today for this made me want snow and now i might not even get any..

This has never been much south of I-40...the warm air is hanging in the valley longer than I expected...But the MRX accumulation map still looks about spot on to me. Remember it will probably snow offf and on most of the day tomorrow in eastern TN.

The snow has started falling again here in Monterey. It had stopped for about almost an hour or so. Looks like the temp is starting to drop again also. Temp now at 32 degrees

Another thing to think about is that the cold air is going to squeeze out all of the moisture in the air.

It's snowing here and has been all evening but amounted to absolutely nothing so far. Looks like above 2500 feet might have gotten about 1/2 inch in my area.

Just not much moisture to work with yet. Hopefully the NW flow and that area of snow back in W and NW Kentucky rotates through. It should do so with far colder temps. The high for most of us will be midnight and its going to fall all day tomorrow and probably won't be above freezing over most of East Tennessee during the day north of I-40.
